Yoga can
be simply described as “body-medicine.” Hatha yoga, taught
at AmeriKick, is a kind of yoga that focuses on
strengthening and revitalizing the body, while relaxing and
soothing the mind. In class you will learn to exercise
traditional yogic breathing, postures and meditation.
Yoga
practitioners have been shown to enjoy benefits such as
reduced stress levels, improved self-image, relief from
depression, weight loss, even heightened I.Q. scores.
Practicing yoga regulates and invigorates the body’s natural
systems, streamlining its’ functioning and efficiency.
Set to
meditative and world music, classes will include rhythmic
movements, stationary stretching, balancing and
strengthening postures as well as a full relaxation session.
Classes do not require prior experience. Intensity level is
gentle to moderate, with advanced and simplified options.

All our programs start with a $20 group class.
We would like to make sure that the participants are
comfortable before enrolling. We would also
like to evaluate the participant to make sure that
he/she is physically ready for our program and
